Feature: 5 places to visit in the USA

With the US borders opening up again (hooray) from early November for UK and EU citizens, we’re highlighting some of the very best places to take a trip to during your Stateside travels…

1. New York

The Big Apple, the capital city of the USA is a must-see location to visit in the US. One of the busiest cities in the world: home to Times Square, the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty. New York is also home to the famous Central Park if you want to escape the claustrophobic streets as well as the world-renowned Broadway, which is home to some of the best shows and musicals on offer around the globe.

2. New Orleans

New Orleans is quite possibly the most culturally diverse place in the whole of the United States. A party city that is home to world famous Mardi Gras, New Orleans draws inspiration from French and Spanish culture in its lifestyle, architecture and cuisine through the creole influence that runs through Louisiana. If you’re a fun-loving music lover who enjoys a party then New Orleans might be the place for you.

3. Boston

Boston is one for those with an interest in history as the city’s ties to the American revolutionary movement from the 1700’s present Boston as the perfect location to delve into American history and build a greater understanding of how the nation came to be what it is today. Boston is also incredibly passionate about sport and are home to some of the most well supported and famous sport teams in the country such the Boston Red Sox (Baseball) and the Boston Celtics (Basketball).

4. Honolulu

Located in Hawaii away from mainland America, Honolulu creates the perfect balance between a busy city and a place to lounge around and relax in the sun. A popular holiday destination for Americans, Honolulu is home to beaches and a tropical climate, the perfect cocktail to escape the rest of the world.

5. Utah

Looking to lose yourself in nature? Prefer the peace and quiet to the rustle and bustle of the city? Look no further than the state of Utah. Utah is home to five national parks: Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon and Zion. Each provide varying landscapes of mountains and canyons that is amongst the most beautiful and breath taking to be seen all around the world. Spread across hundreds of miles of land just remember your map and hiking shoes.
