Vaccination

Vaccinated traveler exceptions - Travelers with a vaccination certificate can enter this destination with some exceptions
Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from testing and quarantine requirements. The final dose must have been administered at least 14 days before departure.

Test/medical certificate

Test/medical certificate required - A medical certificate or recent test is required to travel to this destination
Proof of a negative PCR test, taken within the previous 72 hours, must be provided on arrival. Travelers may instead provide documentation of having recovered from COVID-19. This will require proof of a positive test result, taken at least 14 days before arrival and not more than 180 days. Test results must be in Hungarian or English. Travelers without health documentation may not be allowed to enter or will be required to self-quarantine for 10 days. The quarantine period can be shortened if 2 PCR tests are confirmed negative once in Hungary, 48 hours apart and within the first 5 days.
